Tommy was named a 305 Top Attorney and has received the 2024 President’s Award for Excellence in Advocacy from the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. He believes that a lawyer is only as good as his or her heart for their clients, and their passion for justice. Every case, big or small, is the most important thing happening in the client’s life, and he tries every day to make sure the work he does reflects that understanding. He places the highest priorities on being reachable, communicating clearly, and working together with every client to make sure that they’re always fighting for the very best possible outcome in their cases. These things have always separated AMA Law from the pack which consistently lead to unbelievable outcomes for our clients in their cases.
Interests
Tommy has been married since 2004 and has 3 incredible kids who are also incredibly different from each other. Tommy and his wife stay very busy chaperoning them around the world as they grow and chase their interests and dreams. They’re active members of Antioch Church in Norman, OK and have spent years going on mission trips both locally and internationally. Tommy was also appointed by the Governor to serve on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System (OIDS) and enjoy collaborating with their leadership to ensure that the underprivileged in our justice system are receiving the very best representation and service that can be provided to them by OIDS.
Tommy volunteers for numerous local nonprofit organizations who seek to expand access to justice and legal resources in the Oklahoma community. In his free time, Tommy and his family also enjoy traveling, cooking, health and fitness, and following (mostly) OU sports.
