Attorney

Blayne Armendariz

INTRODUCTION

Blayne is the attorney you want representing you or your loved one in any courtroom –municipal, district, federal, or tribal. From the very first contact, he establishes clear boundaries within the attorney-client relationship and upholds them throughout his representation. He models the respect and professionalism he expects from his clients and is willing to make the difficult calls and have the necessary conversations to achieve the best possible outcome in every case.

Outside the courtroom, Blayne’s natural habitat is outdoors—boots and jeans, preferably on horseback—or at the beach in flip-flops, ideally in the ocean. He brings that same sense of calm, ease, and approachability to his clients, while maintaining formality, discipline, and measured judgment in the courtroom.

Strong legal representation is critical to success within the criminal justice system. Blayne understands not only the access-to-justice crisis in America, but also the fundamental importance of the Rule of Law and due process. He is committed to bridging the gap for Oklahomans seeking effective criminal defense. Blayne works tirelessly and proactively for his clients, driven by service rather than accolades.

EXPERIENCE

When asked why he practices criminal law, Blayne explains that every defendant is someone’s family member—someone who needs guidance, direction, and support throughout the criminal legal process. Blayne not only fiercely advocates for his clients, but also helps them navigate the many life challenges that criminal charges can create or worsen. His approach to representation is holistic in nature, ensuring that his clients’ lives are positively impacted beyond the courtroom.

Blayne is a seasoned criminal trial attorney who was mentored by several legendary Oklahoma criminal defense lawyers. He developed his skills by stepping into trial work immediately after law school. While many attorneys hesitate to take cases to trial or fall short at that critical stage, Blayne embraces the courtroom and thrives in trial advocacy. He is also highly effective in negotiating plea agreements and settlements when doing so serves his clients’ best interests.

Blayne is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client, tailoring his strategy to the individual, the charges, and their unique needs. For much of his career, he has practiced as a true solo attorney—think The Lincoln Lawyer, but in a truck traveling the four corners of Oklahoma. In the spring of 2025, he chose to bring his experience, strength, and dedication to Adler Markoff & Associates, where he now serves as the firm’s Criminal Defense Attorney.

INTERESTS

Blayne loves the Lord, his family, and the Las Vegas Raiders football team.

Blayne met his wife, Tiffani, in law school, and they were married in September 2021. He is the father of three children, plus a blue French Bulldog named Beau Blu.

Blayne and Tiffani enjoy watching the Raiders play several times each season from their licensed seats at Allegiant Stadium, along with attending any other shows or events that give them an excuse to visit Las Vegas. Blayne is also an avid Traeger pitmaster.

Education

Blayne was raised in El Paso, Texas, alongside his two younger siblings. Shortly after graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC), where he served as a Crew Chief and Plane Captain and deployed to multiple countries. During his service, he also provided humanitarian aid in Turkey following the devastating 1999 earthquakes and supported operations in Kosovo, Albania, Tunisia, and other locations throughout the region.

After honorably serving in the USMC, Blayne earned his FAA flight certifications and became a flight instructor in San Diego, California. He later crewed helicopters in the Appalachian Mountains while fighting wildfires and worked with HeliFlite Shares LLC out of Newark, New Jersey—the first company authorized to fly in New York City after September 11. In addition, he obtained his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, allowing him not only to pilot aircraft, but also to maintain them.

Blayne eventually left the corporate fractional ownership aviation industry to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. While there, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, earned a place on the Dean’s List, and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, along with minors in Business Administration and Safety Management.

Following extensive volunteer and service work in California, Texas, and several African countries, Blayne moved to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma City University School of Law.
