ONE PASSENGER KILLED, TWO INJURED IN CRASH
According to police, Amanda Sue Goodman of Oklahoma died from trauma sustained when the eastbound vehicle in which she was a passenger collided with a westbound tractor trailer on Highway 412. The fatal accident took place at about 10am on December 25, 2012. The driver of the SUV, 32-year-old Justin David Goodman, was hospitalized with multiple injuries at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and the couple’s four-year-old daughter also suffered arm, head and internal injuries in the collision, which made surgery necessary. The police report indicates that all passengers in the SUV were wearing their seat belts, but, nevertheless, they were ejected from the vehicle during the accident. The truck driver, a 51-year-old man from Ohio, was uninjured in the crash.
