INJURIES AND DEATHS RESULTING FROM OK CAR ACCIDENT
The OK car accident occurred on state highway 60 around 4:20 p.m. and involved two vehicles – a 2003 Mustang and a 2000 Ford pickup. According to an accident report issued by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the Mustang was headed east on US 60 when the driver started veering to the left for an unknown reason, eventually striking the pickup traveling in the opposite direction, head on. Both vehicles contained passengers, all of whom were pinned for over an hour while rescue crews attempted to free the survivors.
Pronounced dead at the scene of the Oklahoma car accident. was the 39-year-old driver of the Mustang and his two passengers – a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old. A 7-year-old girl was also a passenger in the Mustang, and was airlifted to a hospital in Missouri, where she is currently listed in serious condition. The driver of the pickup truck, a 22-year-old male, was also airlifted to a Missouri hospital, where he was treated and released. Unfortunately, the 19-year-old passenger in the truck was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The OHP is still investigating the cause of the fatal OK car accident.
